- Smells: during the first few weeks of pregnancy, everything smelled bad to me. I couldn't even open the fridge! Especially the smell of cooked vegetables, I couldn't stand it...
- Did my brain shrink? I was much more absent-minded than usual and forgot many things... Apparently, it's common in pregnant women, thankfully, because I was starting to worry.
- Eating healthy: in my daily life, I don't eat as well as I should, and suddenly during pregnancy, I craved many healthy things. It's true I had my sweet moments, but generally, I craved fruit, vegetables...
- I had amazing hair: it seems that hair becomes stronger, shinier... I've never had such good hair as during pregnancy (the downside is that in the months after giving birth, you lose quite a bit...).
- Not being able to tie your shoes: at the end of my pregnancy, I couldn't wear laced shoes; tying them properly was an odyssey.
- Peeing during the night: it seems your body gets you used to sleeping little because during pregnancy, I felt the need to go to the bathroom several times!
- The baby's heart beats very fast: it was one of the things that surprised me most in one of the first ultrasounds.
- Maternity pants: at first they seemed awful to me, but when I tried them on, I changed my mind. They are the most comfortable pants in the world, especially if you are pregnant in winter as they keep you very warm.
